Gaming + VR

Hey Digitec Community I recently bought a lot of games for DVD but I don't have a DVD drive in my PC and now I'm not sure which one I should buy..... Does anyone have any ideas? ( max. 40-50 Fr.- ) Greetings Justin

I'm currently using a Noblechairs EPIC, I actually like the way you feel "hugged" when you sit in it. However, the seat is very hard, which leads to pain in my buttocks and lower back, and the lumbar cushion is also rather disappointing as it doesn't really do anything. The range is huge, I want something that fits into my gaming setup, preferably all black. I'm willing to pay up to about 400fr, what would be good options? If this could possibly be relevant, my desk is 72cm high. I am about 190cm tall. Thanks in advance :)

I have just read the latest c't in which these AR glasses were presented (AR glasses = VR glasses only considerably lighter, cheaper and without tracking the head position, quasi pure video glasses). Unfortunately, not a single mail order company in Switzerland or the EU seems to have these glasses in their range. Is there any chance that digitec could one day include these glasses in its range? The "Lenovo Legion Glasses" from the same article are already available here, but these video glasses have fewer features than the "One XR", at least in my opinion. I would like to save myself the hassle with customs if I could buy the product directly from the manufacturer.

Hello Digitech / Community. I am following the development of Somnium VR due to a new purchase. The data and initial tests look very promising and exceed the expectations of a Pimax Crystal, which should be in the same class. Can you clarify the Somnium products for inclusion in your portfolio when they are released in the next few weeks?

Hello, I have several monitors and am dissatisfied. FullHD, 2K. They are too small. I currently use 27" but I would like to have just one monitor with enough surface area. 32"+ would be great, I saw a 41.50" Asus monitor but I'm not sure if it's good enough for the price? https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/asus-rog-pg42uq-3840-x-2160-pixel-4150-monitor-21819301 Is there anything else or better for this price? What technology? OLED, IPS, LED... Am a little unadvised. Perhaps I should mention that I work on Windows and would also like to connect my Macbook for other work. Hello, I would like to replace my 2015 HP Envy laptop, with Windows 10, with a new model. I need your help on several levels. I want to use it for office work, photo editing and above all home videos (family, travel, etc.). What kind of laptop would you recommend? A good graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 480 ?), 32 or 64 GB of Ram, SSD or HDD hard drive (two 2 to 4 TO) ? Intel i7 or i9 processor? With Windows 11 pro or home and Word Office. Budget: between 1,500 and 2,500 francs. Are there still laptops with built-in DVD and Blu-ray drives? And with the option of inserting SD photo/video cards? Thank you in advance for your advice.

All my main work will be done on my AMD Windows desktop workstation. My usage: 1- Tethered semi-pro photo shoots using Capture One Pro/Lightroom 2- Graphic design & 3D (mainly will be done on my desktop). 3- Travel photos, backup and light editing. 4- Usual web browsing, office stuff. I am torn about which configuration would be ideal for my needs. I don't want to overspend, new Mac Book Pros are apparently on the way in the next few months? Will be using an external SSD too. Option A- Apple MacBook Air - 2025 13.60", M4, 16 GB, 256 GB, CH CHF838 or OptionB- Apple MacBook Air - 2025 13.60", M4, 24 GB, 1000 GB, CHF 1400 or Option C- Apple MacBook Pro 14 - 2024 14.20", M4, 32 GB, 1000 GB, CHF2100. or any other configuration? Thanks EDIT-Ideally I would have preferred a Windows laptop, but my experience with Windows laptop have been shit (Dell, Asus), so not risking again! Plus battery life, reliability is better on the Macs (so I hear).
