Product description: Free Yale Access app for iOS or Android smartphone. Bluetooth version: 4.2 - 2.4 GHz. Bluetooth direct or via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when paired with a Yale Connect Wi-Fi Bridge. Your Yale Access account is protected by two-factor authentication, which verifies identity using an email address or phone number in addition to a password. Linus uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) encryption technology as well as AES 128-bit and TLS encryption, which banks also use to protect their customer data.
