ROLINE LWL patch cable in OM5 quality with connectors featuring particularly low insertion loss for high-performance fiber optic cabling. Security for the future! The OM5 fiber optic cables with very low attenuation provide excellent quality at very high bandwidths of up to 100 Gbit/s for Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and OIF applications over distances of up to 150 meters. This enhances the system cost advantages for extremely long backbones and medium-length campus backbones. Material and sheath in ROLINE quality. Duplex cable with multimode fiber type 50/125μm OM5. The cables, equipped with "Low-Loss" connectors, achieve particularly good values for insertion loss and reflection. For comparison: Typical loss of a standard LC connector: 0.5 dB, typical loss of a Low-Loss LC connector: 0.15 dB. UPC polished. Outer diameter: 2.0 mm. Bandwidth: 4700 MHz-km (this bandwidth is based on an application-specific implementation of the EMBC requirements). Sheath color: green.
