Samsung Switzerland writes on their Shop web: shop.samsung.ch/en/samsung-... "Simply transfer your data that you have on a Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, S5, etc or Galaxy Tab, for example, to a TV with HDMI connection in a wireless way." Especially for TV series before 2013 that do not have built-in screen mirroring.

Yes, according to Samsung, the Tab 4 is compatible.
Unfortunately, this product is not compatible with the Galaxy S5.
I have no idea about the Galaxy Alpha. However, I bought the hub and tested it with my Galaxy Tab 8.0 GT-N5110 and it did NOT work. Digitec took the item back (minus 10%) in the shop without any problems.
According to Samsung, unfortunately not.
