Question about Samsung Allshare Cast Hub - for Galaxy S3 I9300

I have no idea about the Galaxy Alpha. However, I bought the hub and tested it with my Galaxy Tab 8.0 GT-N5110 and it did NOT work. Digitec took the item back (minus 10%) in the shop without any problems.
