Cable yes ... Battery no (but you can also find them in the accessories) ... ATTENTION: if operated with battery only: no alarm clock, no clock ... extremely bad if intended as an "emergency radio".

The mains adapter is supplied as standard and a battery pack as an option. This means that mains operation is no problem! :)

When the radio is on, the only thing that disappears for me is the date, because the station and/or the volume are then displayed at this point.
