When I operate the Pure Pop Mini with normal batteries, no time is displayed in standby/off mode. It does when I operate it on the mains adapter. What is the situation when using the optional battery pack? Is the time displayed in standby?

Unfortunately, no. The time/date is only permanently visible with the power supply unit in idle mode.
