Delock DisplayPort Switch
Yes, works great with my MacBook Pro (M1 Max). I use it with this DisplayPort <-> USB-C cable and a Works with 60Hz 5120x2160 display. Club 3D USB Type C - DisplayPort (DP, 120 cm)) The MacBook simply can't charge directly, but must also be connected to the power supply.
it's 100% the fault of the DP-HDMI adapters, I bought 4 of them, none of them work = thank you digitec for selling them.
The manufacturer's documentation does indeed seem to insist on using "a standard wheel mouse" with 2 or 3 keys.
At digitec there's only the "StarTech SV231DPDDUA2", but it's expensive...
HDMI -> DP must be actively converted (e.g. usb powered). E.g. with StarTech HDMI TO DP 1.2 ADAPTER - 4K (Video Switch) I.e. your cable only works in one direction. DP -> HDMI, the wrong one for you. However, I recommend you a USB-C -> DP adapter for the notebooks. If they support it. I think they do. These active converters only work to a limited extent. Does the monitor say HDMI OUT? That should be HDMI IN or DP IN😕
Hello, it is possible to connect the monitors with a displayport/hdmi adapter. There are also KVM switches with HDMI ports.
As far as I know, this is not a special feature or is similar with many KVM switches. A detailed explanation can be found in the data sheet https://www.delock.de/produkt/11367/pdf.html?sprache=de (under "Note"). Nevertheless, it is possible that wireless keyboards also work - this is just not completely guaranteed.
I don't use the mouse and keyboard ports as I also had problem with them. Now I use the general ports on the front. But then you lose the mouse and keyboard functions to change the input.
The DP switch is listed in the system and you would also receive this with an order. The correction should be visible in the next few days.
