Pattex Classic

Pattex Kraftkleber Classic - The universal contact adhesive for many materials. With its super adhesive strength, the "mother" of the Pattex contact adhesive range bonds quickly, spreads easily, and adheres perfectly to different surfaces. Pattex Kraftkleber Classic bonds almost all materials such as laminates, HPL boards, rubber, leather, cork, felt, hard PVC, soft foams, or metals. Its high temperature resistance makes the adhesive cold-resistant from -40°C to +110°C, as well as heat-resistant. Thanks to its properties, the liquid adhesive can be used in a variety of applications: whether for repairing various household items or for bonding sealing strips, sound-absorbing, insulating, and acoustic panels, veneer strips, or kitchen countertops, it serves as an all-purpose adhesive.

Application:
1. Apply Pattex Kraftkleber Classic evenly and thoroughly to both parts to be bonded, possibly using a notched spatula. The material to be bonded should be load-bearing, dry, free of grease, dust, and residues.
2. Allow the solvents to evaporate for at least 10 - 15 minutes at room temperature, ensuring good ventilation in the room. Afterward, bonding is possible within the open time of 1 hour.
3. Fit the two parts together precisely and press them together briefly but firmly. Corrections are no longer possible. For the final strength of the bond, the pressure applied is more important than the duration of the pressure. A pressure roller or rubber mallet can be helpful to increase the pressure; a template can also be used if necessary. Final strength is achieved after approximately 3 days.

Not suitable for glass, PE, PP, soft PVC, Styrofoam, and PTFE.
