New Playstation handheld allegedly in development

According to the magazine Insider Gaming, Sony is working on a new handheld. It is said to be a device for PS5 Remote Play.
According to Insider Gaming, Sony is said to be developing a new handheld that is internally codenamed "Q Lite". This will not be a device that can play games natively. Instead, the device will be linked to the PS5. Games can be streamed from the PS5 to the handheld via Remote Play. Cloud gaming without PS5 will also not be possible, according to insiders. The magazine obtained this information from unknown insider sources, which is why it should be treated with caution.
There are already said to be prototypes of the Playstation handheld that resemble a PS5 controller and have a large 8-inch LCD touchscreen in the centre. Otherwise, the device offers everything you would expect from it - including adaptive triggers with haptic feedback, loudspeakers, volume buttons and an audio input socket. Game streaming is said to be adaptive and offer up to 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second, depending on the connection speed.
Insider Gaming assumes that the new handheld is already in the QA phase (quality assurance). The magazine also expects that the device could be released before the Playstation 5 Pro. This is said to be planned for Christmas 2024. We will probably find out whether the information is correct at the next Playstation Showcase, which could take place in the summer.
