Lost Ark was released a few days ago, but players still have a lot of questions. One particularly interesting topic is the so-called Powerpass. What is a Powerpass? How do you use it correctly? And how do you get hold of one in the first place? Here are the most important facts.
A Powerpass is a feature that allows you to instantly advance a character to level 50 – without having to level it up in the usual way. You can give a newly created hero this level 50 booster at the touch of a button. Of course, this saves an enormous amount of time and is particularly suitable for twinks.
To get a Powerpass in Lost Ark, you need to get a character to level 50 the classic way and complete the story campaign with that character. The final quest is called «Ealyn’s Gift». Once you’ve completed this quest, you’ll get access to the Powerpass – without any additional costs or other catches.
After using the first Powerpass, you’ll get a second one. The second one is also free. If you want more after that, you’ll have to purchase them for real money in the in-game store. However, they will only be available once you’ve completed the story campaign.
Once a Powerpass is available to you, you need to create a new character. Once you’ve done this, you’ll need to switch back to the character selection menu. Click on the newly created character and then on the «Powerpass» button at the bottom of the screen.
After that, you can choose to play certain sections of the game separately or skip them completely. The latter option saves you the most time, of course, but you’ll miss out on any rewards from the story campaign.
