DeepL translator app for Android released
It has already been available for iOS for nine months - now the DeepL translator app is also available for Android.
What leo.org is for individual words, DeepL is for entire sentences: a practical and often praised translator. DeepL offers 26 languages, which as of now can also be translated via app on Android smartphones. Until now, Android users had to resort to the web interface. Nevertheless, Androidans still don't get the full package that iOSers are familiar with: Comfort functions like translating photographed texts are still missing.
Programs and apps were previously only available for Windows, macOS and iOS. Now the translator can also be downloaded from the Google Play Store. Those who use DeepL for free have to live with a limitation of 5000 characters.
