Cyberpunk 2077 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S is here

CD Projekt Red has released the long-awaited update 1.5 for Cyberpunk 2077. This finally brings the game to the next-gen consoles.
More than a year after its release, Cyberpunk 2077 will also be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The developer CD Projekt Red brings the new versions together with the patch 1.5, which is also available immediately for all platforms. Those who already own the game for an older system like a PS4 will get the next-gen version for free.
The next-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077 offers several graphics improvements, including ray-traced shadows for PS5 and Xbox Series X. The Series S is excluded. The Series S is excluded from this. If you want to benefit from the resulting nicer picture, you have to change the graphics mode to "Raytracing" in the options. However, the new feature affects the FPS, which is then limited to 30 frames per second with dynamic 4K scaling. In normal mode, 60 FPS is possible - also at 4K. There are no graphics modes for Xbox Series S - it brings 30 FPS in 1440p with dynamic resolution scaling by default.
Aside from the next-gen features, the new patch brings some bug fixes and improvements. Things like a supposedly more realistic driving behavior of vehicles as well as residents that now fight back when you bully them. Also, Night City should have become more lively - meaning more residents and traffic. There is also bonus content - new apartments, new ways to customize your appearance and new weapons as well.
