Unfortunately, none of our suppliers yet have the photo backpack in the colour variant mentioned. Unfortunately, it is therefore unknown when and if we will include the product in our range.
Yes, the backpack only becomes a photo backpack with the optional Camera Cubes. However, you can also use these together with the Packing Cubes as a travel rucksack. I personally find the carrying comfort quite comfortable, even with a larger load and over a longer period of time. You can use the rucksack in two/three different sizes. There is a kind of button at the top where you can flatten the top of the rucksack and make it smaller. If you want it even bigger, there is an additional zip to gain a few more litres of volume. I've never had any problems with the standard size on a plane (hand luggage).
I took 1 medium, with 2 cameras and 4 lenses. It fits really well. The r5 with the 70-200 will fill the small one and not much else will fit.
Different dimensions were probably used here, I will adapt them to the standard dimensions as soon as possible. Below are the standard and extended dimensions of this backpack: Standard dimensions (35 L): 56 x 33 x 23 cm (HxWxD) Extended dimensions (45 L): 56 x 33 x 29 cm (HxWxD)
Yes, no problem
If you look at the dimensions it is out as personal hand luggage. But I have always done it and so far I have never had any problems, because it passes as a normal backpack.
Yes, the Backpack 45 L has its own tablet compartment. Right next to the laptop compartment. You might have to look at a few reviews on YouTube, where you can usually see the tablet compartment. Unfortunately not on the official Peak Design photos, as far as I know.

The cross band and the waist belt are accessories. Everything works perfectly for me.
Hello, this is just the empty backpack, without any inside pockets.
No room dividers are included, these must be purchased separately.
Hello Andi I can't give you an official airline answer, but I always fly with the Peak 45L Travel Backback and have never had a problem. According to the official website, it meets the guidelines for "Carry-on baggage. Regards Tobias
No, unfortunately not. The backpack is not on display in any showroom.
Unfortunately, we have no information on this, so the status is set to "unknown". As soon as we have new information, we will add it to the product.
According to our product manager, we are already working on expanding the accessories for this. Which products exactly would it be? (manufacturer link) then we will check this immediately.
