This model does not connect to your phone
My Roomba is every day in use, so he gets until the end of the week all places. Only at my toilet he would have no joy, because he wedges himself from time to time and no longer comes further.
Unfortunately loud and annoying when not in use; annoying clicking noise occurs when my Roomba is on its charging base. The noise sounds after a certain amount of time charging and then occurs at regular intervals. This can be very annoying at night. Only solution; disconnect from power, but this drains the battery and without battery / power the device is useless.
The problem seems to be known at iRobot (see also in various testimonials / forums). iRobot has decided after long back and forth but to provide me with a new charging station. Unfortunately, these clicking noises also sound on this charging station. Subsequently, the device was erstetzt. Without success, exactly the same problem with the replacement Roomba 876.
Otherwise, I am satisfied with the performance.

The Roomba 866 really cleans super. It currently cleans our apartment three times a week and is very thorough. Unfortunately, the app does not work as desired and the robot can not be connected to the wireless network. But have not yet dealt with it in great detail and a solution could still be found.
Trouble has the robot mainly with cables and with black documents. If the floor is black, it may be that the sensor does not recognize the floor and the robot therefore can not clean. For example, Roomba does not like our black carpet at all.
Cleaning the dust box and filter is very easy. - Would definitely recommend the robot to others.

Very satisfied, makes vacuuming much easier. Would not give it away again!
