The WebCam does not work for me (Windows10/64). Windows 10 recognises a WebCam in the DeviceMgr. The Windows-internal problem analysis only runs sluggishly, suggested solution "connect to USB 2.0" (although already connected to USB 2.0). The Microsoft WebCam software from the MS server cannot be loaded. Skype reports that the WebCam is already active "somewhere".
I think so, but I can't recommend the camera in general: on both W10 and W7, it reproducibly shuts down after 30-45 minutes and has to be unplugged and plugged in again. I had this problem with two copies of the camera, and it was reproducible even on Linux. A firmware update has bricked one of the two cameras, the other still has the same problem. The Logitech C920 I bought does not have these problems and I have been using it daily for meetings for two years.
The foot is movable and you can simply "hang" the cam on the monitor above without anything.
Just ask Dr. Google - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0T01VwYCOs - should solve the problem, no? PS: If you want to return it to Digitec, I would be an immediate buyer! I've been using mine for a long time, not as often before the COVID situation as I have in the last few days, and the camera works great with Windows! I would buy another one immediately, but the demand is currently greater than the supply!
Shouldn't the device simply work with Plug&Play? At least that's how it was with Win10 Home. It also says so on the manufacturer's page. Quote:"..No additional software is required for Windows 8 and higher...".
