Question about Ubiquiti UniFi Cloud Key
What is the performance difference between Cloud Key Plus Gen 2 and Cloud Key ? regarding the captive portal, i.e. the guest login e.g. with voucher or PW?

Plus minus equal.
The CK Gen2 is simply more future-oriented and will sooner or later replace the CK Gen1 when new capabilities are added.
In my opinion, you should go for the Gen2.
