What are the consequences of it being Goolge TV? For example, can I also connect the Sunrise box or Apple TV? Sorry for the question, it's my first TV purchase in years....
Yes, multiple devices can be connected via hdmi connections
The TV was for my 80-year-old mother-in-law. I didn't even activate Google TV when I installed it. The TV boots up in a matter of seconds and immediately switches to the last set input channel (HDMI-1). It is connected via the Swisscom BlueTV box. So Sunrise should also work. I am not familiar with Apple TV. FB as described below....
It is a normal PANASONIC TV. It has an HDMI input for a Sunrise box, for example. I ordered it for a 100-year-old single friend and connected the TV to his existing Swisscom box. It worked like a charm.
It takes some getting used to that you first have to register the remote control supplied with the TV. Then you can read everything you need to do in the on-screen menu. So skip the 'Google TV' input in the menu. I have connected the Swisscom box to HDMI 3. Unfortunately, it first has to switch on the new TV with the original remote control. Then he does everything with the Swisscom remote control. And the centenarian does it without any problems and also enjoys the sharp picture. The sound isn't overwhelming, but my friend uses his headphones...
Unfortunately, I can't tell you. At the time, I was delivered an opened, broken Occasion. It was returned immediately.
