DNT Grabstar Pro Video Digitizer

This product with the addition of "Pro" is almost twice as expensive as the one without Pro. I would expect it to deliver better quality. But how is that supposed to work if it apparently has no S-VHS connection???? at least it's nowhere to be seen!
Guys, read the question! It's about the S-VHS connection which the PRO version apparently does NOT have. And would therefore be a mistake for S-VHS camcorder recordings.
As luck would have it, I'm currently working full-time with this device.
At the moment I want to digitise (my own) old video recordings, at that time made with a Sony Hi8 camera, especially when travelling, so that I can edit them on the PC with sophisticated software (cutting, setting titles, adding sound, etc.).
There were some initial problems with the Grabstar device, but everything is now working as it should.
IMPORTANT: Check/adjust all settings on the device BEFORE using it for the first time, then nothing can really go wrong.
Best regards
Willy Huber
