Question about Acer Predator Helios 300 – PH317-54-7301
The laptop says "Available Slots for 2 x SSD and 1 HDD". You also get an "HDD Upgrade Kit". Question for Digitec: If I now unscrew the laptop myself for an upgrade, does that void the warranty? If so, where can I have this done "officially"? And if no: does anyone know a good, suitable SSD for this laptop? And maybe also just suitable RAM for a RAM upgrade to 32 GB?
- Yes, a hard disk installation kit is included in the scope of delivery. Currently, 1 M.2 SSD slot and the hard drive slot are free. One M.2 SSD slot is occupied.
- You can open the laptop yourself, but should anything break, the warranty is completely void.
- You can have things installed by us under warranty. To do so, bring the appropriate materials and the device to our service centre.
- There are two RAM slots available (MAX. 32GB - with 16GB per slot). There are currently 2 x 8GB RAM installed in the unit.
