Is it possible to install a second hard disk (HDD, 1 or 2 TB) in the Lenovo E590?

Yes, this model series has two hard drive interfaces. One is an M.2 connection, which in this case is occupied by a 500GB SSD, and another SATA3 interface. With the SATA interface you can install all kinds of 2.5 inch hard drives.
It's super easy. Unscrew the flap, take out the dummy hard drive and put in the new one. That's it.
