I've been trying for days to either add my Shelly 3EM in the app or to reach the web interface - so far both without success. In the app, the Shelly hangs on "pending connection" and in the web interface, the connection fails... Does anyone have a solution?
It wasn't the Shelly, but my smartphone. With another device, everything worked right away...

the app will probably only run when using the cloud. i.e. enable cloud access on the shelly and make sure that the device can access the internet (requires a few open ports in the 6000-6030 range).
for access via the web interface, either connect to the 3em's own wifi and access the default ip address (see the instructions), or connect the device to an existing wifi with dhcp and fixed ip assignment. you can configure this when accessing the 3em's own wifi for the first time.
Have you reset it? If that doesn't work, replace it under warranty?
