Is the WD100EFAX - explicit a SMR technology disk? WD itself has said ">8TB are CMR = PMR", but the letter 'A' clearly indicates SMR technology. The cache of 256 is just another indication, but (alone) no proof! Thanks for reliable information p.s. Yes, I bought this WD100EFAX for my Synology NAS!
