Philips SmartSleep Connected Sleep & Wake-up Light HF3671/01
Is the time set or synchronised via the app? Summer time, power failure. That is the biggest shortcoming of my current Philips light alarm clock (HF3510), with which I am otherwise very satisfied: No time signal receiver, no backup battery - unbelievable ;-)
Hello Andy I can reassure you. The light alarm clock will keep your memories even if the device is without power. See the instructions for use: "Note: All your personalised settings and profiles are saved permanently. They are not deleted when the adapter is unplugged. You can change all settings at any time. The last setting is saved." And it works. I have connected my alarm clock to the wifi network. So the changeover from summer to winter time and vice versa also works. Everything is tiptop so far... except: No DAB+ 😬. A killer criterion, as Switzerland will soon only broadcast DAB+. I have pointed out this shortcoming to Philips, but I think that this will remain my problem - i.e. if I then want to wake myself up via the radio, I will have to change the alarm clock. But until that happens, I'm enjoying my device and the app that goes with it. LG Erich
