Is it possible to connect a Macbook Air with USB-C port (Thunderbolt 4) to this display with just one USB C cable and then supply the Macbook with power and have data/video exchange at the same time? My goal would be to connect all additional devices to the display and then connect everything to a Macbook via a USB C cable?

You can connect your MacBook Air to the Odyssey G9 with a USB-C cable (Thunderbolt 4) to transfer data and video. The monitor has a USB-C port that is suitable for data and video exchange. However, the Odyssey G9 is not used as a USB-C Power Delivery (PD) source to charge your MacBook Air, as it does not support Power Delivery via USB-C itself. However, you can connect all additional devices to the monitor and use them via the integrated USB hub. However, you will need a separate charging cable to power your MacBook.
