If I install this on 2 Mac's - will the photos/data also be synchronised? Are there any tools that are not included in this version? (compared to online version)

I also work with an iMac and a Macbookpro. I save the catalogue (with embedded photos) in Dropbox. Firstly, I have a backup and secondly, I always have the current catalogue at my disposal. Alternatively, for reasons of space, the pictures can also be stored on an external HD.

I am not a MAC user, but I can imagine the following:
You only save the pictures on one machine and access the data with the second MAC when editing the pictures. This has the disadvantage that both MACs have to be connected to the network. But it is stupid if the machine with the data is not available (for whatever reason).

You save the data for editing on a Claude, Apple or Adobe and synchronise the images when they are finished.
You have to be online for Lightroom 6 anyway because of the registration.

Maybe other users have a better solution, hopefully!
Best regards Hans Schwaller

NB
I have uninstalled Lightroom 6 and am working with Lightroom 5.7 again, because I don't always want to be logged in as an Adobe user when I work with Lightroom.
