I have several lamps in use and would like to control only individual ones. Is that also possible with the Philips Hue Wireless Dimmer Switch?

Yes, you can control any combination of lamps or a scene with the Dimmer Switch. The group of lamps can be switched on or off or dimmed. You can switch a scene on or off or dim it as a whole, whereby the brightness and/or colour temperature of the lamps present in the scene can be different.

The colour or colour temperature of individual lamps cannot be changed with the dimmer switch (this is done in the scene).

The Dimmer Switch can either be operated independently of the Hue Bridge with 1-10 lamps (quasi "manual operation") or integrated into the Hue Bridge under "My devices". In this case, the lamps or scenes can be conveniently assigned via the Hue App as described above.
Dimmer Switch = highly recommended!

Does anyone know the exact process of assigning two of these dimmers to a lamp without a bridge?

Many thanks in advance!

So my question again
Is it possible to control several lights individually with a dimmerswitch in my case it would be 2 (I have my dining table in the living room so that I can switch them separately) or is that not possible?
Or are there any alternatives that work together with hue?
With kind regards

Yes, with iConnectHue you can access the same lamp (or lamp groups) with multiple switches. With the Hue app you can also control the same scenes (lamp groups) with several switches. However, not individual lamps (or probably only in a cumbersome way).

I have a group of lamps grouped together in the kitchen, a group of lamps as the living room and a group of lamps as the dining room. Can be switched with the switch:
1) Switch all groups on/off
2) Switch on/off one group at a time (e.g. only living room).
Additional question: What is a scene? For example, is this the living room?
