Question about YI 1080p Dome Camera
I bought this cam for my company, I am actually very satisfied with it - the only annoying problem is that the cam switches to sleep mode after a few minutes without an event. The manufacturer's website mentions that there is a menu item in the settings where the sleep mode can be switched off, but this is not available in my settings, I have searched through the complete settings (version for desktop + mobile) several times and found nothing....

I would like to know from you how long this camera can record before it has problems with battery / heating.
You mention that you use the camera in such a way that it records when there is movement. Have you already found out the maximum recording time? E.g. if you were playing with children under the camera or something?

I have owned the same cam for some time and also have the Outdoor Cam from the same manufacturer. Both cam's work perfectly. Unfortunately I cannot understand this with the sleep mode, as this does not occur with either cam. Is it possible that you have set a schedule under Settings / Detection Settings / Alarm Settings? The setting "all day" should be activated there.
Or do you mean by sleep mode that the cam's do not record all the time? Because this would be correct, as video recordings are only saved when activity is detected. This cannot be changed, as there is no corresponding setting option in the software / app.
