Question about ASUS ROG ASTRAL RTX 5080 GAMING OC
Hi, I've had the card for a while and the 4th fan, the one on top, makes an infernal noise, I'm on the default bios, so performance, and when I see in some reviews that the card is silent, I say to myself that it's not possible, or else my card has a serious problem, people who have it could tell me their feelings? On games that consume ray tracing in 4k? Merci beaucoup

Asus has uploaded a bios update for the problem, which should minimise the standard fan curve.

Mine was very quiet out of the box, but this was probably due to 3rd party software (NZXT CAM).
I personally haven't done the bios update, but it should help you with your problem :).

To be confirmed, when the 5080 was first launched, the 4th fan made too much noise, this has been corrected with the new cards, mine makes no noise up to 60 degrees and beyond that I just hear the fans blowing, to our knowledge Asus has released an update for the card's Bios.
I don't have a 4k screen, only a 3440*1440, and everything runs at 120 fps, sometimes at 80fps minimum depending on the game. Whether with RT or not.

I recently got this cg.
At full load, i.e. 100% and after 360W of tdp (i.e. fans at 100%), the card is not very discreet. Maybe not infernal, but you can hear it clearly. At the same time, this is quite normal if you want to keep an acceptable temperature around 65°.
So I'm not too sensitive to noise and, above all, I'm aware that nothing comes from nothing and that you have to make a few concessions to keep the cg at the right temperatures and so preserve it and benefit from all the efficiency it's capable of.
If not, switch to quiet mode, but then what's the point of taking such a 'sharp' card.

Bonjour, merci beaucoup pour vos réponses, la mise à jour du bios est pour le bios quiet, j'ai essayé mais du coup la température monte à 75 degré+ ce que je trouve éI have tried but the temperature has gone up to 75 degrees + which I find high, even if it does not make any more noise, currently I make a curve myself with gpu tweak, to have an acceptable noise and a max température max around 70 degrees, but the fans still turn at around 1600 rpm, I have several friends who have 5080s with configurations very similar to mine and their card is much cooler + the fans turn much slower, it's true that I'm having trouble understanding, I wonder if my card has a problem:/
