Question about Garmin Vivoactive 4S

There should be no problems when pairing the vivoactive 4/4S with a Samsung Galaxy A52. However, it is always more important for Garmin that a smartphone must have certain minimum requirements for the installation and thus use of the Garmin Connect app. You can find out what the current requirements are under this link:

Notifications can be transferred to our devices from pretty much all apps installed on the smartphone (provided the app also allows this), hence of course WhatsApp. Customers can set this up quite individually:

Emojis are now transferred with the notifications, only images/photos/gifs themselves have not yet been transferred with any Garmin watch.


Our watches can also be used directly as an alarm clock (alarm), but the watch cannot deactivate the alarm from the mobile phone. Calls are displayed on the watch and can be accepted or rejected. However, it is not possible to make calls via this watch. This currently only works with the Venu 2 Plus.
