Hello, the Canon LiDE scanner does not work on my laptop or desktop. Error message: 2, 156, 33. I have Windows 10 installed on both PCs. Does anyone know what to do?
Hi,
I have the same issue, every time use the auto scanner button, I see the following message: "cannot communicate with scanner error code: 2, 156, 33". I tried to install and reinstall the driver from the link above many times, and I still can't scan anything using the buttons on the scan or the IJ canon software. Any solution?
I found the Canon Lide 300 for Linux here-> http://www.sane-project.org/sane-mfgs.... under Manufacturer (Ordered by Manufacturer) with the entry "Complete All resolutions supported (up to 2400DPI)". Downloaded the driver from the manufacturer Canon and installed the software "simple-scan" via terminal with the command: sudo apt install sane xsane libsane. The whole thing went faster than this entry. Merry Christmas!
Try downloading a new driver https://www.canon.de/support...) If this does not solve the problem, please contact our customer service directly.
