Question about Zyxel WL Router LTE7490-M904 LTE Outdoor Modem Router
Hello, I need WiFi access for various devices that connect to the Internet via LTE (i.e. an outdoor router that creates a WiFi network for me). Am I right with this device? or do I need another device to set up WiFi?

The WiFi of this device can only be used for administration, so a usable WiFi for several devices would have to be installed with other additional devices.
For a hobby application with several WiFi devices, we recommend other devices that are also significantly smaller and easier to handle and may have a rechargeable battery etc..
This device can be used for professional network installations - however, in-depth network knowledge is an advantage for the configuration, as this is not a "plug & play" device.
As already described by user janser-dl, unfortunately only usable with a complex management tool from Zyxel.
Although the devices are advertised as a stand-alone solution.
I only use Teltonika products for outdoor or industrial applications.
i use this device for the hiring hall, where i have no LTE/GSM reception. i have mounted this device outside the hiring hall, it contains a slot for the SIM card. so you receive the LTE/GSM data. The connection to the router / wifi router is established via an RJ45 cable (up to approx. 220m).
