Have you also had a key break? A plastic pin on my left shift key broke off today. Since it's still under warranty, Digitec is now sending me a replacement. But what happens if it happens outside the warranty? Logitech doesn't seem to send individual buttons? Can I then throw an almost 200.- dollar keyboard in the bin? Or do I just have to drill Logitech long enough until they send me a replacement key?

In my case, the space bar has a dent, and the Shift and S keys dissolve in the coating.

I've also had mine for just under 2 years and everything is still whole - even after heavy use (gaming, speed typing, etc). Possibly an exceptional error in production. Hope the replacement stays better for you! :)

My keys are still in one piece after 2.5 years. But yes, replacing individual keys is always problematic, not only with Logitech. Very few manufacturers offer individual keys, which is too time-consuming to manage.
