Question about SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless

For me, this firmware update changed the input from PC to PS4/5... It also showed an "unsuccessful" at the end... But the SW says that the firmware is up to date... What a pity and that with such an expensive product...

I have done the firmware update. When I switch on the PS4 mode, the sound only comes from the headset and no longer from the soundbar, which is connected to the optical out of the base. This always worked fine before the update. When I switch off the headset, the sound comes back to the soundbar. Is there a possibility to perform a firmware downgrade or another solution?

I remember having a similar problem. After a firmware update, the pairing has to be done again; I don't know if that's what you meant by re-pairing or if you just turned on the headset to pair.
If you have already tried the re-pairing:
When trying to pair this with the transmitter, I noticed that the instructions on the screen were not 100% correct and the pairing was unreliable.
