Does BlackBerry Classic still support WhatsApp - or like Q10, does it not?

I have heard that WhatsApp will apparently no longer be supported from the beginning of Jan 2017.

Hello Jemaumi!
I used the phone until this summer. Even then, wazzup messages came that the app will no longer be supported as of the beginning of 2017.
