Does anyone have experience with eSIM? I have a subscription with Sunrise and currently have a second mobile phone with a PrePaid from Swisscom. I get calls on Swisscom from time to time, but rarely make calls on it. I would like to have both numbers on my iPhone. 1) Is that possible? Resp. what do I have to do to make it work? 2) I assume that the mobile phone will then be on two networks at the same time and that this will also affect the power consumption. Is that correct? And is it possible to put the PrePaid number in flight mode while the "main number" works normally? Thank you very much.

Yes, it is possible to have two numbers on the iPhone SE. A physical SIM card and a so-called e-SIM. Ask Sunrise or Swisscom if you can change your SIM to e-SIM. If you then have a SIM (physical card) and an e-SIM, you can switch between the two numbers. One number is then always the main number (where e.g. the data volume runs etc.). However, both numbers can always be reached. Of course, you can also switch one number to flight mode. Here is a video about Dual SIM on the iPhone (from the 4th minute): https://www.youtube.com/watch
