Are there any significant differences between this monitor and its predecessor, the Dell U2717D (also still available on digitec)? The comparison function didn't help me either.

I have both. They are very similar (https://www.digitec.ch/de...) and I am very satisfied with both. The U2717D makes a more stable impression in terms of the housing. But I would still go for the newer U2719D.
