WaveShare 800×480 7.5inch 3-colour E-Ink Display Raspberry Pi HAT

This is an XXL 3-colour E-Ink / ePaper display module 7.5inch with 800×480 pixel resolution, with integrated controller communicating via SPI interface. The extremely low power consumption makes it super suitable for battery powered applications. These displays are also used in retail as price tags, where they run on a battery for several years. The display has a very good viewing angle and can be read very well even in sunlight. Since this display is operated in 3 colours, it takes approx. 31 seconds to build up the image. This means that it is not intended for applications where the display has to be updated every 1 second.
