It is 15 December 1846 and the first train to travel between Berlin and Hamburg is waiting for the starting signal for its long-awaited test run. What nobody knows at this time is that this test run will lay the foundation for a network of routes that will enable a completely new way of travelling. We wanted to capture that sense of wonder and combine it with the leisurely pace of another century. The result is the Berlin model with day of the week and date display. The 38 mm champagne gold case and alligator-embossed strap emphasise the vintage style of the timepiece. With a case height of 8 mm, the Berlin is comfortable to wear on the wrist and combines timeless style with minimalist design. Only sapphire crystal is used for the timepiece. This type of watch glass is normally found on the luxury watch market. The Berlin combines vintage with minimalist design to create a timepiece with a unique look. The dial is limited to the essentials, but offers displays for the date and day of the week. The cowhide strap is elegantly embossed with alligator, making this model a real eye-catcher on your wrist. The underside of the 10 mm high case is decorated with an engraving of the Berlin railway station in its home city of Hamburg. After its construction in 1857, it served as the westernmost terminus of this railway line for 46 years and enabled a "fast" journey from Hamburg to Berlin in 9 hours.
