Scythe Mugen 5 Black Edition Rev. C

The Mugen 5 Rev. C CPU cooler receives a well-deserved design update in the Black Edition. The heatsink has been carefully coated, including the copper heat pipes, and wrapped in a matte black finish. Both the complete mounting system and the fan clips seamlessly blend into the overall style. The top plate, made of aluminum, is adorned with a striking Scythe logo in a diamond cut. The asymmetrical design and cutouts on the rear cooling fins provide excellent access to memory slots and allow the use of RAM modules with tall heatsinks. Even on the back of the CPU socket, memory with a height of 55 mm can be utilized. With an overall height of just 154.5 mm, the Mugen 5 Black Edition Rev. C fits into almost all standard cases. The fan from the Kaze Flex II 120 PWM series has also been color-matched. Key features of the fan series, such as vibration absorbers in the corners of the frame and the unique sealed fluid bearing (Sealed Precision FDB), are also implemented here. Additionally, the fan's speed range has been expanded to 1,500 RPM to achieve higher cooling performance.
