There are probably only a few vehicles in automotive history that can compete with Land Rover in terms of cult status. And when it comes to robustness and off-road capability, no one can beat it anyway. Anyone who had a lot to transport off-road would go for the long wheelbase version known as LWB or 109. Known as Series III, the third generation of the British car was built unchanged for almost 15 years from 1971.
