The RP-2000 MK2 is a reliable turntable for aspiring DJs. In its MK2 version, it offers several improvements, such as the enhanced top-panel construction and revised metallic buttons with improved haptics.

The fail-safe direct drive and precision-crafted die-cast platter distinguish the RP-2000 MK2. The installed direct drive is particularly reliable and exhibits low wow and flutter. Unlike a belt-driven turntable, the RP-2000 MK2 transfers motor power directly to the drive hub, allowing for higher torque and faster power transmission to the platter. The pitch section, with a range of +/-8%, is also suitable for fine tempo adjustments.

The RP-2000 MK2 features a statically balanced S-shaped tonearm with a hydraulic lift and anti-skating mechanism. Various cartridge systems can be connected via the universal connection for tonearm systems (SME).

The top-panel construction in elegant deep black metallic is equipped with revised metallic buttons for start/stop and speed. The improved actuation provides clear tactile feedback. With the push of a button, the aluminum stylus light can be extended, making the stylus position easily visible even in the dark. The robust construction with optimized damping properties helps to reduce vibrations, and shock-absorbing feet on the underside of the turntable contribute to further isolation.

Included with the RP-2000 MK2 is a high-quality OM Black cartridge system, handcrafted by Ortofon in Denmark, along with a matching headshell.
