Good kettle, lousy app
I find this kettle very good.
The inner stainless steel jacket is easy to clean and has 0.5, 1 and 1.5 L markings.
0.5 liters is heated up to 90°C in 2 minutes.
The temperature can be set to 40, 50, 70, 80, 90°C.
The temperature hold time can only be set via the app.
For Bluetooth control, you have to install the Xiaomi SmartHome app and there the language varies from German, English to Chinese. The cooker can be controlled after installation without the Internet and without Chinese.
But without the app it is faster and easier.
The supplied power adapter is unfortunately designed so that with a CH 3-socket the 2 other connections covered and can only be used with angled plugs.Pro

nice bottle for making teas
there are two buttons. one is "boil", this will heat to 100 and another is "keep warm" using that you can heat to 50,70,80,90 degrees. it will then keep at that temperature for some time. very useful kettle for making teas. have not tried to connect with smartphone. no need so far

High-tech but useless
I was very disappointed with the kettle as it was at the top of the Digitec rankings. It can't do anything that a normal kettle can't do.
The app is just a gimmick, nobody needs it! If you want to drink green tea, who wants to boil the water to 100 degrees and wait for the kettle to tell you that the water has reached your desired 80 degrees 30 minutes later? Absolutely stupid. I would like to be able to set it to only heat the water up to 80 degrees and then stop. That shouldn't be too difficult. And I can't boil water from a distance for safety reasons. So why not just add a few more controls and leave out the app?
Also, no viewing window when filling and only a measuring scale on the inside of the metal container on one side.
And if you want to boil water to 100 degrees and pour it out: not a good idea. The spout is far too small and the boiling water practically flies in all directions at the slightest movement.
A flop through and through. 2 stars because it works and boils water... I'm still angry...Pro

The kettle is generally of quite mediocre quality, it wobbles on the stand when boiling and is not very quiet. Unfortunately, I would not recommend the product or the shop.Nice kettle

That's already the second one I bought for my family. It never had any issues. It allows for adjusting the temperature, which I use for brewing different types of tea.

For security reasons, it cannot be controlled via the app. So boiling water via mobile is not possible. If the water gets too hot, look for your mobile to set the temperature 🙄 otherwise it just boils water and is easy to clean.
Garbage, seller is mis leading and selling fully broken item!
Seller mentioned that the lid is not closing but item functioning, it’s not true , boiler is not cooking water at all, it’s pice of garbage, that should not be offered for sale

Can't understand the positive reviews. The kettle is unusable and even dangerous: hot water drips out of the bottom when pouring. Obviously a faulty design.
