Superbly finished device, which not only looks extremely chic, but also has decent performance. The camera setup is also on a high level, especially during the day.
There are very few points of criticism, especially considering the price.

My first Xiaomi smartphone. Price/performance is very good. There is some bloatware. At the beginning I was surprised that this cannot be deactivated. This was the case with my old Huawei without any problems. However, there is a tool with which this bloatware can even be uninstalled. Without root. MIUI took some getting used to, but over time I was able to set everything the way I wanted. It takes some research in the www. The camera is ok so far. It certainly doesn't come close to the top Huawei smartphones, but it certainly can't be expected for this price. But it's not bad either. It is quite passable.

Great phone performance hardware photos videos for this price.
Unfortunately, not so good photos with low light.
Generally photos videos is a Huawei P20 Pro 20% better.

Have had this smartphone for 3 months now and it is very good especially in terms of price/performance.
It is better than an IPhone 11 Max and is cheaper.
It comes with a protective case (matte black) but NO GLASS.
Edit:
Thanks to updates, the battery life has been improved by 20%. Now even an app menu is available, you can now switch to an Ultrabattery saving mode, which is similar to Samsung.
This means that all unnecessary services are switched off and only the necessary ones are started up.
It calculates how long the phone can be used with this.

After 5 years of good and loyal service my iPhone 6 gave up on me and I chose the Xiaomi Mi 9T pro to replace it.
I'm really satisfied. Its large screen without notch (hole for selfie camera) and its great battery life really make the daily use pleasant. You get used to it very quickly and I must say that the last update (MIUI 11) makes the interface very similar to iOS which is nice for someone who comes from an iPhone.
I'm not a big photo taker but from what I've seen it seems very decent and the pop-up selfie camera system is really well designed and solid (I was afraid it would be a bit gimmicky).

Once in the water and a total loss.
You would think that this would be a thing of the past in today's generation of smartphones. But this does not seem to be the case with Xiaomi.
I will switch back to Samsung, more expensive okey but exactly these things make the difference.

So far on Samsung and fully satisfied with the China phone that costs almost half as much!

I have a Samsung S9 plus and these 2 devices are about the same. I think the Xiaomi mi 9t pro is a great phone. There is nothing to complain about.

OK, the thing with the hidden selfie cam is cool. Only the light show and the sound could be spared. The mobile phone looks OK at first glance. On first slip, it looks quite different. I thought that after more than 3.5 years of using the OnePlus 3, I could treat myself to a new toy. But this technological misunderstanding has only added as much value to my life as Jar Jar Binks to the Star Wars saga. That's not so bad, since my life isn't even light years away from being as epic as "The Empire Strikes Back" - although there have been blows. So, let's be honest: 1 star is there for that, because 0 doesn't work. A second star for the fact that the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro finally gave me an excuse to use Jar Jar Binks for a product review.
Even after falling off for the second time, the replaced expensive screen was of no use. The good thing was that I then no longer had to interact with the stupid user interface. That was really stupid. The interface, not the broken screen, they were normal like on many other smartphones. Just wonder how my OnePlus 3 still works since 2016. Maybe I was lucky back then and set my expectations too high now. At least I got rid of my money.

Super smartphone with high-quality workmanship. It is worth buying the Pro version, if only because of the colour :-)

The battery life is just great. The quality of the screen. The camera is very decent for the price. The selfie camera gimmick that stands out looks very solid and especially allows for a larger screen. The fingerprint to unlock the phone works great. The fast charging works well.
