V-Moda Crossfade 2 Codex Edition
14 h, Wireless
Do not be fooled by the wonderful sounding Marketing scam, the device will last a little longer than the warranty, sending it in costs 150 CHf. you will then be informed that the headphones cannot be repaired, as V-moda(Roland) is not in a position to carry out a fault analysis or repairs. All devices are delivered directly from China and resold. After some research, the Vmoda website states that repairs are generally not possible as there is no service centre. This means that the possibility of sending in a device for 150 CHF to have it repaired always ends with the Immortal lifetime programme, which promises a 20% discount on a subsequent device. The only problem is that this does not exist in Europe or Switzerland, although it is advertised on the product, the packaging and on the website. If I had the possibility and means to take legal action against this fraud, I would do so. I hope Digitec takes action against this scam as their own repair process is part of the scam or is being exploited. All resellers besides digitec are also affected by this scam
