Very well protected fast external hard drive
Very well protected fast external hard drive. Unlike previous models, it only needs a USB port for data and power.

HDD with software
For this HDD there is the free software Elite Backup on Transcend. I have installed and already run 2x. For 230 GB of data it takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to create the backup. And this on a fast PC with USB 3.1 Or I'm doing something wrong.... I am only moderately enthusiastic. Otherwise it would be 4 stars. Case protects the HDD. But: The front side with connector and backup button is naked plastic. If the disk falls on this edge, the well-intentioned protection is not effective. Thus, the mechanical protection for the HDD is incomplete.

Good from experience
Used as backup media with Acronis True Image backup software.
Lots of memory for a sharp price
Unfortunately, the delivery by UPS was poor. The parcel was simply left outside the door. No bell was rung!
Later, DHL came by and this driver gave me this parcel, which had become soaking wet in the rain.Pro

Defect after one month
The hard drive was defective after just one month and the data could no longer be read.
I received a replacement hard drive relatively quickly, but my data was lost and I lost confidence in the product.Pro

Would have arrived quickly,UPS disaster
Unfortunately, the hard drive never arrived.
It seems that UPS delivered it to a different address. Why ever? Package gone, money back via PayPal. Too bad
