Using this in a game where z-axis is common, like a space sim, the z-axis potentiometer will fail after only a few weeks or months, rendering the entire joystick useless. It is a design flaw and a known problem.
You can either make a warranty claim every few months or just avoid this joystick altogether. Rather than waiting for exchange, I swapped the potentiometer with a suitable replacement from Mouser, which seems to be lasting longer.
The same thing happens on the Airbus version, the only difference is that it's easier to open and reassemble that one.
They should have used a magnetic or optical sensor, instead, they save a few cents with a garbage analog potentiometer.

Buy double pack, sell second stick. Have thus paid for "my" stick only about 65 francs

Simpler but Yostik but has a good quality
I use it for X-Plane on my Mac. Works perfectly.

The largely solid workmanship and precise axis control more than compensate for the disadvantages (see above). Nevertheless, it is advisable to pick up the stick in a shop if possible. The x and y movements in particular seem a little heavy to me, and someone with smaller hands than me might have problems operating the head switch without lifting their hand from the tray.

Good joystick for the price

The controller feels good in the hand and is also well made. However, the support from the manufacturer is terrible.
There are 2 programmes for the controller that are terribly bad and difficult to program and install.
The templates for the button assignments are not always compatible with the respective games for which they should be.
There is no feedback from the manufacturer.

This joystick from Thrustmaster feels very good and is very easy to control. I also bought the thrust controller from Thrustmaster 2 years ago and so far everything is still top notch, so I think the joystick will last a long time too. I have read that the motor of the joystick would quickly break down, but that remains to be seen. Otherwise, I can highly recommend this joystick.
I use the joystick mainly for Star Citizen!

I am satisfied. It would be cool if it had some kind of cover to prevent the joint from filling with dust.

In short, nowadays if you don't spend stellar amounts the products are scarssisimi... Spending the amount that this joystick costs with the quality you get is really absurd.
If you want something good you have to buy something like the VKB Gladiator that costs from 140 Eur up. In addition since you have to buy it from Europe, Switzerland makes you a nice little gift by charging 30 Chf. of "customs fees". Great, isn't it?
In addition, the product is old for years and then you can not know what package you get .... To me the first arrviato not working well the left button on top (it was soft).
So know that with this joystick, take what you take.

I've been using the T16000M for years, the only problem is that it loses accuracy over time. I change it every 3 to 4 years!

This could have been the perfect PC joystick....
At the main trigger and the POV switch cross are micro switches installed, the rest are cheap rubber nub switches.
The slider scale is drawn twice as big as the length of the slider. The slider travel is with 19mm much too short for the regulation of the thrust between 0 and 100%.
The Z-axis can be over-extended at the stop with little force. The handle is mechanically not sufficiently firmly installed!
The T.16000M FCS is too expensive for the design and the manufacturer's margin is too high.
Nevertheless, a nice device, lies well in the hand and all three axes are very precise.

Precise in every situation. It has many fully configurable keys. The base
is solid and heavy enough to make it stand still while we use it. Convenient also to have included a handcuff, but this turns out to be a bit 'too small and not very precise. Better to match the external throttle, if the budget allows it. Nice are also the leds that turn on when you use the lever, but a bit 'useless since they do only on/off, it would have been nice for example a light rvariazione based on the handle or inclinaziuone of the Joystick. Also interesting is the possibility to adapt the lever to left-handed people.

I wanted the Airbus edition but eventually bought this one. I would buy it again.

I use the joystick on a MacBook Pro 16" (2019) and play X-Plane 11 or Flightgear with it. It works very well in this combination.

I find the price too high - digital may sound nice, from more precise play I have noticed nothing. Unlike my Cyborg which unfortunately broke, the Thrustmaster has only a few buttons in the thumb area, which I miss to switch weapon systems, etc. the Coolie Hat is ok, better positioned (less flat) than other joysticks, which suits me with smaller hands. When you turn the stick you can feel the attached parts for left/right handed operation, feels like the stick is coming apart in two parts.
Therefore joystick OK, but as everywhere suffers the quality, for this the prices are too high.
