I had to replace a defective Google Chromecast dongle. Unfortunately, these simple devices are no longer available. The new Google TV streaming devices are an alternative. The original parts from Google had very long delivery times and so I luckily came across the Thomson device. This device replaces the Chromecast dongle 1:1 and also offers all the advantages of Google TV and costs just over half as much

Best streaming BOX with Android
After my bad experience with the Xiaomi TV Stick, I switched to this streaming box. Thomson has done a great job. Everything runs quickly here, initial setup was lightning fast via my mobile phone with Google Home. Picture quality and sound quality are the best. Chromecast is also available and works tip-top. And a small technical detail: instead of the Cortex-A53, the Cortex-A35 is installed. 65% less energy consumption with 90% of the performance of the A53. Can only recommend this box.
