Stadler Form George

The George would be really good as a humidifier/scrubber. Unfortunately, it has a few flaws that are absolutely unacceptable at this price.
- The worst point is the volume. When it's running at full capacity, it's really extremely loud. But what's even worse is the volume when it's running at the lowest setting. Then some motor inside the appliance rattles extremely audibly, which can drive you absolutely crazy. As a result, I can't use the George when I'm in the same room unless I have headphones on.
- The service is simply not good. I contacted support about the rattling in the device and wanted to know if anything could be done about it. I was more or less brushed off and even during the audio recording, where the rattling was very clearly audible, I was told that nothing could be heard. In my opinion, this kind of support is simply not okay in this price range. Even if I had been told that they were aware of this rattling and would look into it in product development, I would have accepted that as an answer, albeit somewhat annoyed that nothing could be changed.
Bottom line: Either I and everyone who has listened to my recording (except those at support) have sound hallucinations or the device is simply very cheaply built internally, which is simply not acceptable at 230.
P.S. The return has not changed the rattling at all, which leads me to believe that this is standard and that I did not get a Monday model.

I am usually used to better from the Stadler family.
What bothers me the most is that the fan is audible clacking in low levels. Sounds like the fan is hitting certain spots.
Have had it replaced under warranty, however the replacement product has the same fault.
No purchase recommendation from me for this.
