Sonos One Gen2
Wi-Fi, Airplay 2
This speaker is essentially the Play:one but with (a version of) Amazon Echo built in. Whilst this is great for a lot of what the Echo ecosystem can offer - it's not without it's drawbacks.
Firstly this system requires AN ECHO ACCOUNT. That means if you're from CH, you can't register. That being said, it's not hard to register as someone from DE. You don't need the Amazon Alexa app if you want to use this speaker - you will just need to set up your account, and log in using alexa.amazon.com from your browser. iOS users, I'm not sure how hard it is to get/install the app, but Android users it isn't too hard to find it somewhere else, and install a third-party apk.
If you have your SONOS account registered with a Swiss address, you will need to edit your profile, change your country, save and "transfer account" in the Sonos app. Then you can activate the Alexa voice service.
SPOTIFY USERS: If you thought this would be as functional with spotify as an Echo is, you're out of luck. It seems she can't find any music, unless it's in your (local) library. This means you will still need an Echo of some kind, set with the default music player as Spotify for this system to work. Don't stress though - Play & Stop etc still work. But no other functionality at this point.
As for sound/design/etc It's basically a Play:one. Sounds great, looks great - all white, instead of white/grey.

...basically, the 5 star ratings are legitimate if you are Sonos fanatics and do not look outside the box. But I am unfortunately on the Sonos advertising with the "full" Google Assistant integration fell, which is not really there.
Google Assistant works flawlessly, but you can't integrate these things into Chromecast groups, which makes it useless for proper Google Home. Too bad, Sonos and Google complaining to each other is probably more important than the benefit to customers.

This review was created for a different variant: One Gen2 (Wi-Fi, Airplay 2)
Although I was initially sceptical about the quality of SONOS, I now have several of them at home. The individual ones are impressive, and many of them meet my requirements completely.

Make colerics out of even the most patient of people. If you think Bluetooth is sometimes a little unreliable when connecting, you haven't tried a Sonos system. Every other time there is trouble. Sometimes it takes a few minutes sometimes 20 minutes or until you give up. I wish I didn't have my whole apartment filled with this immature product.
The sound quality is as expected for the price, but you rarely get to worry about it.

The sound of the boxes is great and the products are high quality. However, the app is so disastrous that the entire product is made a pig. So a confusing and error amfälliges app I have never experienced.
Conclusion: Product super - but as long as it is controlled with this app (S2), close to unusable and a waste of money.
